Nick’s career in financial services spans fifteen years, ten of which he spent as a Business Manager with Barclays, working with clients in both the business bank and corporate markets. Nick has extensive experience of the challenges, trials and tribulations of owner managed businesses, particularly when sourcing finance.
Nick made the decision to leave the bank in early 2011, sighting the Alternative Finance Space as being an exciting and innovative market in which to hone his skills. Being one of the earlier entrants, he witnessed first hand the UK market’s rapid growth in this sector, more than doubling in size year by year as clients sought more prompt, flexible, can-do and less bureaucratic ways to raise finance.
Nick is passionate about building long lasting relationships with our clients and introducer network, actively involving himself in delivering the Select message to the intermediary market and strives to ensure that the company is run to the founding principles of Partnerships, Responsiveness, Transparency and Trust.
When not at work, Nick likes to keep active: all sports, live music, travel, cookery and he enjoys spending time with his young family.
